World Water Day aims to bring awareness to the importance of using water sustainably. Without changes in the way we, as a society, use water, future generations will suffer from inadequate potable water supplies. As the human population grows – and the effects of climate change worsen – the strain on our water supp

lies will continue to mount. To combat this problem, we have to make changes. And if we are to make genuine progress, everyone has to play their part. Outdoor water use accounts for a disproportionately large amount of household water usage – rising as high as 50% in the summer – making it an obvious target. In this post, we’re going to talk about a number of different things you can do to reduce outdoor water usage and do your bit for the environment.
